Blown-In Attic Insulation

The attic is one of the largest sources of potential heat loss in a home and often one of the most neglected areas when it comes to insulation, especially in older homes. That's why adequate insulation is so important. Without proper attic insulation, your energy bills could be significantly higher. Whether your attic is and will remain unfinished, be used for storage, or be finished for use as living space, make sure that it is properly insulated with the right amount and kind of insulation.

Batt Insulation

Batt insulation comes in pre-cut panels and is used to insulate floors, walls, and ceilings. This type of insulation is generally made of fiberglass or rock and slag wool, although there are also natural cotten varieties available for thermal and acoustic installation. Fiberglass batt insulation is one of the most popular forms, as it tends to be fairly inexpensive and easy to install. If installed properly, this insulation can be effective, energy efficient, and long lasting.

Existing Wall Cavity Insulation

Little or no insulation in your walls?  Removing the wallcovering to insulate the wall cavity just isn’t cost effective. It’s cheaper and easier to drill small holes in the wall so that the insulation can be blown in. For that reason, blown insulation is usually the preferred choice when you have to re-insulate a completed wall.

Soundproofing

Soundproofing insulation is a special type of insulation product, designed to be an acoustic barrier. The insulation barrier absorbs sound and can greatly reduce noise leakage from one room to another.

The result of installing soundproofing will be a peaceful and private home for all to enjoy.
